New FAMO Accreditation - Multimedia Production
The school received a new accreditation of its Bachelor's and follow-up Master's degree program "Multimedia Production" in both Czech and English languages and valid until 2029.

FAMO pedagogue wins prize for best independent film
FAMO teacher and professional Czech / Australian animator and editor Viliam Vala wins the prize for Best Independent Film at Ceske Budejovice's Černá věž festival 2018, for his short animated film - I'm Leaving.

Multiple FAMO graduates nominated for awards at the Czech Film Critic Awards 2018 for Domestik
The film Domestik, was nominated for the Czech Film Critics Awards for 2018 in the categories for BEST FILM (Jakub Jíra), BEST DIRECTOR (Adam Sedlák), AUDIOVISUAL WORK - Sound Design (Jan Šulcek, Jakub Jurásek). All of whom are FAMO in Pisek graduates! We're very proud. Keep up the good work!
FAMO student Martin Synek turns heads at the National Theatre
Screenwriting student Martin Synek received the prestigious Student Thalia 2018 award for his play Jinotaj, in the National Theatre's New Scene awards, in the literary section. Congratulations!
FAMO students take the cake at ČERNÁ VĚŽ
Our student films were at hit at this year's 8th annual ČERNÁ VĚŽ film festival - an amateur and student film festival held in nearby České Budějovice - with the Award for Best Student Film going to Michaela Polakova and her film The Summer of Mischief, and the Viewers Award going to Daniel Habrda for his film From Hell and Back. Congratulations!
