Pisek's acclaimed cultural space 'Sladovna' - a preserved 19th century malthouse - is exhibiting FAMO students' animation work from the 8th of April until the 29th. Don't miss the opportunity to see this amazing space and support our students.

Czech Television has announced the results of the 6th FILM ACCREDITER ČT, which is to contribute to the support of the best student short films, which have previously been selected by individual schools - FAMU, FAMO and TBU. We are happy to announce that FAMO will once again partner with FEST festival, one of Europe's leading showcases of new talents and groundbreaking film education forum. And this year for the first time our students and staff will be offered active internship opportunities!

As of 2019 FAMO Students will have the opportunity to participate as study-abroad interns in the international film festival’s organization, documentation and marketing, as well as in the events themselves. Don't be shy, have a look what FEST has to offer here.

“Since its establishment in 2004, FEST has quickly become one of the leading showcases of groundbreaking films by emerging filmmakers, as well as a platform for international film professionals, up-and-coming and established alike, to come together to present their work, develop their skills and create synergies. Set in the coastal resort town of Espinho, Portugal, FEST presents a selection of feature and short films and an extensive industry program that includes masterclasses, workshops, debates, roundtables, case studies; a development and co-production event and more - featuring the most promising new talents from around the globe, as well as some of the biggest names in world cinema, industry thought leaders, decision-makers and experts…”

Have you checked the surf forecasts in Espinho? I have... "Plenty of tubing moments with swells of up to 3m+ (10ft)". See you there!
