International Projects

For children and young people who have experienced living in alternative child care, separated from their biological families, the process of growing up can be extremely difficult and demanding because they do not have functioning support systems and social networks.
Youth moving sought to empower such youth and provide them with a platform to address those who were responsible for making decisions which affected them.

This short documentary, the Nest, was created by us, FAMO as part of this project. The film follows the experience of four inspirational young woman who have experienced first had alternative child-care.

This project was co-funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Program.

Unboxed Democratic Youth aims to foster democratic participation among young people by utilizing the power of storytelling and filmmaking. The project imparts upon its participants audio-visual and digital skills through practical education in the processes of story development, on-set film production and post production, culminating in the creation of short films.
