International Projects

For children and young people who have experienced living in alternative child care, separated from their biological families, the process of growing up can be extremely difficult and demanding because they do not have functioning support systems and social networks.
Youth moving sought to empower such youth and provide them with a platform to address those who were responsible for making decisions which affected them.

This short documentary, the Nest, was created by us, FAMO as part of this project. The film follows the experience of four inspirational young woman who have experienced first had alternative child-care.
