Selma Ročková

Selma Ročková graduated from the Miroslav Ondříček Film Academy in Písek – majoring in Audiovisual Creation and received a Master of Arts degree with a focus on film science at the Graduate Center in New York.

Since her studies, she has been involved in production in film, television work, and advertising. As an external producer at the advertising agencies Saatchi&Saatchi and Falon, she collaborated on the creation of advertisements like T-Mobile, Škoda auto, NN, or Hypoteční
banka. Since 2012, she has been a member of the teaching staff at FAMO in Písek, where she lectures in the production studio to both Czech and foreign students.

She has been representing actors since 2014. She has been fully engaged in this activity since 2016, and in 2020, the brand Selma for Actors was created. Selma for Actors represents professional actors and acting students, provides advice to unrepresented actors, and co-organizes workshops and lectures for actors who want to deepen their artistic and practical skills needed to function in the audiovisual industry. Together with Lenka Daňková, she initiated the establishment of the AHA Association of Actors’ Agents.
