The 2023 Summer Film Program in collaboration with NOVA (USA) and the Church Conservatory in Bratislava (SK) has come to and end for the year. See you again in 2024!
And so the Summer Film Program of 2023 comes to an end… a month long immersion for students of NOVA Community College into film in the Czech Republic with us at Filmová akademie Miroslava Ondříčka v Písku a SVOŠF Písek – a month full of workshops, cultural activities, new friends, and film production.
This year our 23 strong student group from NOVA worked with our own talented youth to create 4 videoclips for the up-and-coming stars – band Marjari.
This year, for the first time, our CZ / USA crews expanded to include actors and actresses from the Cirkevné konzervatórium v Bratislave, Slovakia, whose skills took the film projects and personal experience to a whole new level.
As always, we ended with the screening of their incredible work and a sponsored breakfast by McDonald’s Písek. Thank you!
A last shout out to all students, whether our own, those from NOVA or Slovakia… you’ve all invested a huge amount into the last month and should all be proud of yourselves and your work.
